This reuse is a big one. An old shipping box that has been sitting in our garage for five years taking up space has finally found a new life.No longer will we trip over it trying to reach tools or stub our toes on it as we walk through the door.
Now, tin roof rusting, it is the new pride of our garden, and home to night crawlers and red worms. Hope they eat well, because their waste will feed our trees, vegetables, and flowers as beautiful black gold compost.
Although I would love to take credit for this little treasure chest, all I’ll be able to do is give thanks to my husband and son for making it a reality.
Can’t wait to watch those worms (and plants) grow!
