Last year, a good friend helped me and a room full of other friends celebrate my 40th birthday by knitting.
This year, my 41st birthday, was celebrated with much less fanfare, but many more crafts. It was a wonderful day in which my staff honored me with a host of handmade gifts.
Lisa made this memory board for me, which will soon be covered with favorite photos.
Check out the custom burlap accents!Going with the burlap theme, Kathy D. made this cute wreath, already sprucing up my front door. Rhonda took care of my sweet tooth with a jar full of homemade white chocolate granola trail mix. Yum! (And check out the original bow on that Mason jar!) Rebecca made a set of coasters for me. She knows I love to travel! Samantha, who does not craft, picked out some nice journals for me. She and her son figured I could use them to write. So thoughtful, and so elegant!
I also got a flower arrangement from Pat that she and her son made me; a miniature flower from Kathy S.; and some great food from Bea and Lakeisha. I’ll share the pictures of those things soon.
What a wonderful crafthday!
Not only did I get some amazing gifts, but I also got some wonderful craft ideas! Thanks, ladies!
